Professor Max Ortiz Catalán, Ph.D, is an accomplished scientist and research director, who has created both implantable and non-invasive medical devices from ideation to clinical implementation. He has extensive experience raising funding and building teams of highly educated and technically skilled individuals in both industry and academia. He has published over a hundred scientific articles with over a dozen collaborators from around the world, primarily in the fields of bionics and pain. He has received several international awards and prizes, and he is regularly invited to speak at conferences, universities, and research institutions around to world.
